We are delighted to advertise an excellent opportunity for an ambitious IT professional, looking to progress in their career. We are looking for an IT & Business Systems Administrator to join our team based in our Athlone Offices, the successful candidate will be joining the company at a very exciting time as we continue to grow and expand our retail outlets. If you are a recent graduate with 2-3 years IT & Business Systems Administrator experience and you have the enthusiasm and the ambition to grow and develop your career, then this is the role for you!

Core role: The IT & Business Systems Administrator will deliver customer focused results, tenaciously overcoming obstacles, and lead from the front. You will develop strategies, technologies, policy, practice, processes and controls as a framework to roadmap and achieve company-wide business goals and meet future challenges. You will be responsible for the management of the company's technology, software and services within the Omni-channel retail group.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate business and IT management skills or experience, preferably in the retail sector including POS, ERP and E-Commerce.
  • Execute IT solutions, systems and technologies to meet company strategic and functional objectives.
  • Manage IT strategy, cost management and resources.
  • Provide business, technical and development oversight for internal people and external solution and service providers.
  • Helpdesk management
  • Business systems administration
  • Data base management.
  • Experience of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Linux Platforms (preferably Ubuntu)
  • Cloud Computing (preferably AWS, Google Cloud Services)
  • SQL Databases and programming (preferably PostgreSQL, PL/pgSQL
  • CSV, JSON, XML, JavaScript, HTML, Python
  • Microsoft Business Central (preferred)

Qualification:

  • Degree qualified (IT or Computer Science and Business System, or Business Analyst)
  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role
